SIR DORIS – A CAREER IN KABUL

When the austrian lady Doris L.started to work for an international fuel trading company (called Tryco) in Afghanistan, it was quite hard to be accepted. Once somebody wrote the word “Sir” in front of her sign, to make a deal acceptable. But as soon as the afghan partners got to know her better, the respect for her grew bigger and stronger. The helicopter-flights, that her company offered, are canceled now, because a terrible “accident” happened last summer. Now it is five years, that the Austrian who is also vice-president of Tryco is living mainly in the capital Kabul. The political situation is getting worse and worse, but anyway the “boss” Doris L. is not planning to leave….
