he collected loads of different things like books, traditional mangyan stuff, stones, letters, tools … photographs, negatives, …
the 79 years old former missionary is living since 1958 at the philippines. most of the time he spent at mindoro with the “hanunoo-mangyan” tribe.
at the end of the 1960th he changed from the city mansalay (south-east mindoro) to the little mangyan-village panytayan. he built a house and is still living there.
panaytayan is within walking distance in ~5hours from mansalay and is situated in the rainforest.
