The “Annual Peace Run 2007” in Kabul was a big success: More than 28 girls and 2000 boys and men were running through the dusty streets of Afghanistans capital. Organized by the really busy Bayat-Foundation, the sportevent was definitly an effective demonstration for peace and unity.For european eyes some details of security-measures during the run may cause astonishment, but anyway in Central Asia sport is able to reunite people for good like in all parts of the world.
